It only makes sense to me to have that much less to worry about. Oh btw, I'm the one who has to get up there to clean the canopies because I'm lighter, more agile and not afraid of heights. I also drive. Hmmm, I think I'm the one getting snowed :)<br />Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4180460645169293250.post-10869636569288975912014-09-28T20:46:22.841-07:002014-09-28T20:46:22.841-07:00Time for an ultimatum. If you are a senior citizen or near that age, you should not be on a ladder especially when it's icy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4180460645169293250.post-26393441162491363282014-09-27T14:47:19.103-07:002014-09-27T14:47:19.103-07:00Let her get in bed then close the slide, as for th...Let her get in bed then close the slide, as for the kitchen, its more functional if the slide is in. Perhaps what you suggested should have been that they have a simpler meal or eat out when the weather may be bad. Then again, if my husband insisted that I cook every meal while traveling (I also drive) then I might be inclined to have him up on the slippery, ice covered roof. HaHa Seriously... Do you make this stuff up?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4180460645169293250.post-57182600139639968252014-09-27T06:54:59.103-07:002014-09-27T06:54:59.103-07:00I am lucky my wife is the first to suggest we pull...I am lucky my wife is the first to suggest we pull in the slides. I would try to explain the pro's and con's to her but if she won't see the hazards then I would make the decession and let here complain. Or she could get up on the roofe and clean the snow off. With the slides in, you have a smaller volume of air inside the coach, and that means less air to warm with your furnace. Also, with the slides in, there is less surface area to conduct heat outside. Heating is easier with the slides in. This advice also works for hot weather, when you are trying to keep the inside cool.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03757095726347147302noreply@blogger.com
